Why fascia matters
The fascia caps the ends of the rafters and commonly provides the surface to which gutters are attached. Rot, corrosion, distortion or failed fixings can affect alignment and bracket security.

Define who repairs what
A quote should state whether fascia repair or replacement is included, excluded or referred to another appropriately qualified trade. Concealed damage may only become visible after removal.
