Licence requirements depend on the work and contract value. Use the NSW Government licence check and ask the contractor which licence class covers the proposed work.
Avoid vague allowances
Terms such as “repair where needed” should be clarified. Ask how many metres, joins, outlets or downpipes are included and what would trigger additional cost.
